The datacentre is at 162 Grafton Road, Auckland. Backups are held onsite, and offsite to the Turbo I.T office at A7/710 Great South Road, Manukau City.

We don't store any customer data overseas.

How your data is looked after
The copies we keep
If we host your database, backing it up is our job. Copies go offsite to the Turbo I.T office in Manukau, named above, by straight file transfer — not through a sync service like OneDrive or Dropbox. That is deliberate: those services move your data offshore, which would undo the whole reason for hosting it here.
The copy you keep
Every night your data is also written out as CSV files — ordinary spreadsheet files you can open in Excel. You hold a current copy of your own register at all times, without asking us for it and without needing our software to read it.
If you host the database yourself
Then backups are yours to run. We strongly recommend keeping at least a week's worth, held offsite, on devices that are not connected to the machine running the database.
